A Lindquist Beach Wedding That Was Worth the Wait
Shannon and Jason reached out to me to begin planning their Lindquist Beach Wedding in April of 2017, and we were all so excited about their vision and upcoming big day. As with other couples that I’ve written about in my previous blogs, Shannon and Jason’s original wedding date in October was no longer an option due to the storms. They were my shining star when they emailed me wanting to change their date, as opposed to canceling altogether. They will never know how grateful I am that they were so willing to work with me and shift their date in order to give the island some time to recover. They were not disappointed. Their wedding was stunning, as you’ll see in some of the photos throughout this post.
Despite a rocky planning period due to the storms, this amazing couple had an absolutely beautiful wedding day. Their colors were shades of purple, which just so happens to be 2018’s Pantone color of the year (more specifically ultra-violet). Their ceremony was held at Lindquist beach, a venue that provides some of the most fantastic views, and I am still obsessed with the details of their wedding, such as their chair ties and the flowers and driftwood that lined their aisle leading to the gorgeous arch.
After a ceremony that could have been straight from a fairytale, everyone made the quick trip over to Sunset Grille for a brunch reception that was a ton of fun. The details on their tables were also beautiful. We decided to go with a perfect garland lining the center of the table instead of centerpieces.
I look back fondly on this wedding and this amazing couple that was so laid back and willing to go with the flow. Check out the photos; you won’t be disappointed!
