Brian and Kelly contacted me in August of 2017 to plan their St Thomas Beach wedding in St Thomas. Kelly and her family had fallen in love with Secret Harbour on a previous trip to St. Thomas and knew it would be the perfect spot for her to marry Brian. I quickly got to work planning their big day. While their ceremony was to be held on the beach, these two wanted their reception to be unique and planned a boat trip directly following their vows.
The morning of their big day brought dark storm clouds and a rain that seemed like it was refusing to let up. As the time of the ceremony got closer, it was beginning to look like these two would have a very rainy wedding. But St. Thomas seems to have a type of magic to it, and things somehow always work out. About an hour before these two were set to walk down the aisle, all of the clouds cleared, and the sun began to shine for the first time that day.
Everything about these two was absolutely stunning! Kelly’s dress had a very detailed beaded top, and her hair and makeup were perfect. As she was walking past a mirror we heard her say “oh my gosh, I’m GORGEOUS” (and she was right). Brian wore a tan suit that complimented her dress perfectly.
Their wedding gave me yet another opportunity to practice my calligraphy that I am so excited about! I made a mirror for the entry to their ceremony saying “Our happily ever after starts here”, and it turned out perfectly.
After saying their “I do”s, the bride, groom, and all of their friends and family climbed aboard Daydreamer for a fun reception (and some absolutely gorgeous pictures)!
