When Keri reached out to me about helping plan her marriage to Jonathan, I was so excited by the vision she had for her big day. She wanted to be a Boho Bride at Secret Harbour. She was looking for a simple, boho bridal look. They also wanted a ceremony that would incorporate their family members and things that were important to them.
Keri and Jonathan wanted to make it an intimate experience. It was beautifully personalized for the couple. The ceremony included a speech that reminded everyone of the importance of keeping Christ at the center of their marriage. It also included a beautiful rendition of an Ed Sheeran song played by the bride’s father and sung by her brother.
These guys got some absolutely gorgeous photos after their ceremony, taking advantage of the beautiful sunset that Secret Harbour often offers. Seriously, their shots were absolutely breathtaking!
Their reception at Sunset Grille showcased the personalities that I’d been getting from Keri and Jonathan throughout the entire planning process: they love to have fun! After a delicious dinner, friends and family members shared toasts, including Jonathan’s first college roommate. His toast included stories of their times together at Coastal Carolina University, and how he remembered Jonathan falling in love with Keri. It was a beautiful way for everyone to celebrate their love story. Jonathan, Keri and guests spent the rest of the night dancing, and let me tell you, these two know how to throw a party. Everyone seemed to have a great time. Be sure to check out some of my favorite photos throughout the post!
