What can I say about this wedding? It was the epitome of the wedding that I wish I had planned for myself! Ruth and Jeff’s wonderful St Thomas Wedding was so fun to plan. They contacted me in January of 2017 to plan their wedding for June of 2019. We had so much time–almost two and a half years!–to plan their perfect wedding day.
These two decided to stay at Secret Harbour (which I highly recommend) and invited their guests to stay there as well. They started early with getting ready and got some really great photos of that process. Ruth had some gorgeous robes for her girls. And can you get enough of this little boy? He’s the cutest!
After their pre-wedding pictures, we transferred them to Lindquist Beach. You all know how I feel about this beach! Ruth and Jeff decided to do a first look and get a lot of their portraits out of the way before the ceremony. This is always a great idea if you want more time with your guests during the cocktail hour.
The details for this wedding are timeless and exquisite. The ceremony at Lindquist was perfect. There was a driftwood arch built by the florist. It’s gorgeous and may be one of my favorite arches ever!
The reception was equally as gorgeous. That cake. Those place cards (done by yours truly). The tiny flowers (blushing bride protea). And the centerpieces! I’m in love and obsessed with it all. Instaworthy for sure!
Tell me, what was your favorite detail?
