While it has been months since hurricanes Irma and Maria struck St. Thomas, our island is still in recovery, and there are still many workers living here. When Dawn reached out to me about planning her St Thomas Lindquist wedding to her fiancé, Jeff, I was extremely excited to help these guys put together their big day. Jeff has been living on St. Thomas as a recovery worker, helping put our home back together. I appreciate this more than I can express, so the least I could do was to help them plan their dream day.

Dawn and Jeff got married on Lindquist beach on the afternoon of July 13th, 2018. These two are both country music fans, so their wedding playlist included a lot of songs by Kane Brown, with Dawn walking down the aisle to Jeff to the song “What’s Mine is Yours”. It was a gorgeous moment to be a part of. Dawn’s mom officiated the marriage, making it an even more personal occasion. Their guests were mainly their closest family members and friends, and you could tell they were surrounded by so much love.

I also loved the groom’s and groomsmen’s attire. Everyone sported white, beachy pants and shirts, and hats that had different colored bands for each person. Dawn’s dress was stunning, with a sweetheart neckline and gorgeous beaded detail. Everyone looked amazing.

After a walk down the beach into the sunset with a couple of their family members, everyone headed over to Sunset Grille to enjoy the live music playing that night and some delicious food served up by the restaurant.
