St Thomas Catholic Wedding Love

Where do I even start with telling you about this St Thomas Catholic Wedding? I feel a connection with each one of my couples, and Jen and Dan were no different. I truly feel that I made lifelong friends with them. And there wedding will be on the books as one of my favorites for years to come!

Jen contacted me about a year and a half prior to her February 11th wedding. She detailed her intricate vision and we both set out to make the details shine.

The day of the wedding, Jen rented a room where she and her ladies could get ready and share some bubbly. They rented a room right next to the ceremony venue, so she could walk to the ceremony when it was time. They had such a fun photo shoot in the hotel room–I’m in love with these pictures that look like they were out of an ad!

Their wedding ceremony would be held in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, which is in the middle of Charlotte Amalie. The church is gorgeous and has so many beautiful details adorning the walls. We really didn’t need much by way of decor for the sanctuary.

After their wedding, they would spend some time in town taking photos and then go to Villa Botanica to get some amazing garden photos. We would then move on to their reception, which took place at Plantation Crown and Hawk, on the same property and with the same owners of Villa Botanica.

We had details upon details for their reception; the beautiful tablescapes, the champagne wall, the lounge area on the grass–I could go for days. See for yourself! I’ve added some of my favorite photos throughout the post for your enjoyment.
