I just got the pictures back from this Rainy Day Magen’s Bay Wedding! I’m really excited to share them with you as well as explain why rainy day weddings aren’t the worst thing that could happen on your wedding day!
It started out as a beautiful day! Everything was going smooth. All my vendors were in place and ready to go. Shannon and Chris were on their way from the cruise ship. We were ready!
The bride and groom, along with their wedding party and guests, showed up with smiles on their faces. Just as the bride was about to walk down the aisle, it started pouring! The vendors that I work with on a regular basis are really great. Everyone was ready. Everyone went into save-the-bride and save-the-decor mode. There were umbrellas coming out of everyone’s cars. We had trash bags around the cake. The bride ducked into a limo. It was crazy!
That said, it was amazing. We were delayed about half an hour, but it was okay! Once we got started, you could see the clouds and rain behind them in the bay. It was beautiful! Not only did the weather make everything beautiful, but it also cleared off the beach! Most of the people had cleared the beach, seemingly for this Magen’s Bay wedding.
Shannon, Chris, and their guests were thrilled with everything! They had a fun photo booth set up. The caterers were right on point. And the sun was out the rest of the day. It just goes to show that everything doesn’t have to turn out perfect for you to have a perfect wedding day.
In St. Thomas, it rains most days. You can usually expect it to stop within fifteen minutes of starting. Moving the wedding back or forth about half an hour or so is never an issue, as you see from this beautiful Magen’s Bay Wedding!
