It’s the Details That Count

 In Blog

I learn tons of new things every time I do a wedding. One of the first lessons I remembered learning is that small wedding details count so much toward the couple and the way they look back on their special day.

As a young entrepreneur on an island full of Wedding Coordinators, I had (and still have) lots of opportunities to watch and learn. One of these Wedding Coordinators told me one day, “Always put something on the chairs.” She’s right. Just a little something on the chairs is very important for the look for the ceremony. It’s one of those things that you see, but don’t know you like. If it’s not there, you feel like you’re missing something.

Below, you will see a wedding which did not allow for sashes on the chairs. I took it upon myself to add these at no additional cost for the lovely couple. I won’t tell you my secret for cheap chair ties, but I will say that these are very inexpensive, and they were much needed to add to the look.

Below, you will see another wedding without the ties. This was a styled shoot we did for a resort on St. Thomas to show St. Thomas weddings. It’s beautiful, but it’s the wedding details that count.

I will say that it is an adorable wedding set-up but add some ties on the chairs or some flowers down the aisle, it would just add more to the wedding.
