At Irie Matrimony, we’re always looking for ways to bring something fresh and meaningful to the couples we work with. Over time, we’ve noticed a growing need—one that no one in the U.S. Virgin Islands is currently fulfilling. Bouquet preservation. Brides put so much thought and love into their floral arrangements, yet once the wedding day is over, those blooms fade away. We wanted to change that.
Turning Flowers Into Art
At the end of 2025, we decided to test out bouquet preservation with one of our brides—offering it completely free as a trial run. Instead of simply drying and framing flowers, we focused on creating an artistic representation of the bouquet—a piece that captures the essence and beauty of the arrangement in a more unique and creative way. And the result? Stunning.
We’re still learning and refining our process, but we’re excited about what this could mean for our couples. Imagine taking the bouquet you walked down the aisle with and turning it into a forever piece of art that reflects the colors, textures, and spirit of your wedding day.
Why It Matters
Right now, no one in St. Thomas, St. John, or St. Croix offers wedding bouquet preservation. If a bride wants to keep her flowers in any form, she has to ship them off-island—a complicated and expensive process with no guarantees. We’re hoping to change that by offering a local, artistic alternative. Something that doesn’t just preserve, but transforms wedding flowers into meaningful, lasting artwork.
What’s Next?
While we continue to perfect our process, we’re eager to start offering this service to brides in 2025! Whether you’re a past Irie Matrimony bride or planning your dream wedding now, we’d love to hear from you. Would you be interested in turning your bouquet into art?
Stay tuned for more details as we expand this offering, and as always, thank you for trusting us with your most special moments. 💛
